| The future learning spaces will take many forms. As in Future Learning Spaces, excerpts from Designs on ELearning Conference, by editors, Stefan Sonvilla Weiss & Owen Kelly, reveals the form and spaces conducive with new teaching strategies. Institutional spaces, networked spaces, experimental spaces, social spaces and interactive performance spaces will all play a part in the structures which house learning activities. These spaces already exist in the existing school environment. There is nothing a new building can provide that an existing building, if creatively adapted can't provide as well while maintaining the special character only neighborhood landmarks can. The School Box concept by Danish Kurani, shown above, is forever adaptable to new trends and technology configurations. This concept only needs a floor, walls, daylight and WiFi to be successful. |
